League of Legends Champion: Swain

LoL Champion: Swain, the Master Tactician - Champion Spotlight

Here's another Champion to continue with the LoL Champion Guide.
Retweet this if you liked it. :)

Swain is the newest mage to League of Legends. His damage output as well as lane control are extremely strong, and I can see him used as an anti-carry in his career as a champion. This video focuses a lot on his spell combos, which I think is a key skill to learn while playing Swain. The ideal combo to use is Nevermore, Torment, Deathfire Grasp, Decrepify, with Ravenous Flock running the entire time. However, this is not always going to be a feasible combination of spells.

Often, you’ll be fighting enemies at long range and won’t be able to land the spells in the best possible order. Leading with Decrepify to slow your opponents in order to ensure all your spells will land is an acceptable loss in damage output, since Torment just in itself is his single largest damage ability. Similarly, during the laning phase, just using Decrepify Torment will help you conserve mana since Nevermore will be easy to dodge with a low level Decrepify slow. Hopefully you’ll find Swain fun and an excellent addition to your team!

Swain LoL champion skill build is

1. Decrepify
2. Torment

League of Legends Champion: Sona

LoL Champion: Sona, the Maven of the Strings - Champion Spotlight

Sona is an exceptionally potent support champion. Her main draw over other support champions is her ability to hasten her teammates’ movement speed. With this advantage, Sona applies well to very mobile strategies with teams who want to out-position their enemies. Thus, she can be extremely useful with split pushes or heavily gank-oriented strategies.

Time to put it in some sleazy League of Legends champions.

When playing her, I try to get the new item, Shurelya’s Firecrest, for the regeneration and cooldown as well as that extra boost of movement speed on demand. My main draw is Mejai’s Soulstealer, though. If you position yourself well, you shouldn’t die in most fights, allowing you to stack up your Mejai’s with assists. Afterwards, I find Innervating Locket and Zhonya’s Ring to be very effective items. The massive ability power, huge regeneration bonuses and 40% cooldown reduction are really effective on Sona.

Sona's LoL skill order is:

1. Hymn of Valor
2. Aria of Perseverance
3. Song of Celerity
4. Aria of Perseverance
5. Aria of Perseverance
6. Crescendo
7. Aria of Perseverance

* Mana Manipulator
* Philosopher’s Stone
* Boots of Speed -> Boots of Swiftness
* Mejai’s Soulstealer
* Shurelya’s Firecrest
* Innervating Locket
* Zhonya’s Ring

League of Legends Champion: Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune, the Bounty Hunter. On the Fields of Justice, if you have the... misfortune of fighting Miss Fortune, then I feel for you. Dear non-English-speaking communities: I realize this pun doesn't work in your language. Miss fortune is "misfortune" in English. I'm sorry, but I had to.

As a ranged physical carry, Miss Fortune is extremely item-dependent. While Double Up does apply on-hit effects like Madred's Bloodrazor, I prefer the more conventional choice like Infinity Edge and Last Whisper. With these two items, and the two physical damage elixirs, you can create a huge advantage for your team with a deadly push.

Miss Fortune skill build is:

1. Double Up
2. Make it Rain
3. Double Up
4. Impure Shots
5. Double Up
6. Bullet Time
7. Double Up
8. Impure Shots
9. Double Up
10. Impure Shots

12. Impure Shots
13. Impure Shots
14. Make it Rain
15. Make it Rain

18. Make it Rain

Miss Fortune item build is:

* Boots of Speed + 3 Health Potions
* Infinity Edge
* Last Whisper
* Mercury Treads
* Elixirs of Fortitude and Agility (forever!)
* Frozen Mallet
* Guardian Angel
* Banshee's Veil

League of Legends Champion: Malzahar

Malzahar - League of Legends Champion

Greetings summoners, Those of you awaiting your Void triumvirate, wait no longer! Malzahar, the Prophet of the Void is rapidly approaching the League of Legends! I’m expecting Ninja-vs-Void Twisted Treeline matches from all of you. Click on the video just below for a sneak peek into the playstyle of Malzahar, and also scroll farther down for more detailed information on build, strategy, and tactics.

Malzahar makes for a mastermind in materializing major victories in League of Legends. All of his abilities directly deal deadly damage to dangerous detractors. Deriving and devising devious designs will result in the rapid resurgence of the dominance of the Void. You’ll be Malzahar’d pressed to find a champion as fun and dangerous as the one and only Prophet of the Void.

Malzahar’s main draw is the supreme ease at which he farms minions. By maxing Malefic Visions quickly, you can wipe out minion waves and harass your opponents for free. Combined with Call of the Void and Nether Grasp, you’re able to quickly kill squishy champions in a heartbeat. Later in the game, Null Zone makes for an awesome ability to use in large team fights, especially if it hits tanks. There’s a really awesome tactic you can use as well: Learn Call of the Void first and cast it multiple times at the very start of the game. Then, if you instigate a fight or simply want to jungle, you’ll have your Voidling spawn at the start of the fight.

Malzahar skill order is:

1. Call of the Void
2. Malefic Visions
3. Malefic Visions
4. Call of the Void
5. Malefic Visions
6. Nether Grasp
7. Malefic Visions

12. Call of the Void
13. Null Zone
14. Null Zone
15. Null Zone
